Clubs to Join

 


Newbie Club (starting June 3, 2017)

Gain confidence in beginner skills in this year long club. Perfect for those who have finished a beginner quilting class and are looking to improve their new found skills, or for those who have been quilting longer and just need to brush up on basic skills. Join the group for tips, Saturday Sampler block construction demos, new patterns, food and fun! A great place to make a lot of new quilting friends.
Meets the first Saturday  of each month 2pm-4pm  $10 per month

MODA Blockheads 

Terry Powers leads this new group that uses the monthly blocks offered by the MODA Blockhead designers (featured on MODA’s blog) to create and sew newly designed blocks.  So if you want to join the fun, grab you scraps, fat quarters, charm squares and you might find something you can't live without at Tiny Stitches and let's have fun making these blocks together.  Terry will show you the tricks and tips on how I make these blocks.
Last Thursday of each month at 9:30am  $10 per month

Kim Diehl's Simple Whatnot's Club

Join the talented Muriel Pfaff for this club featuring exclusive quilt and project designs stitched entirely from Kim Diehl’s patterns and collection of fabrics. Join this lively group for free patterns, demos, food, fun and inspiration.
 
$37.50 per quarter  Fabric available for purchase.

Jo Morton Club

Step back into the 1850’s while working on quilt projects from popular pattern and fabric designer, Jo Morton.  A new Civil War reproduction-style quilt project each month with tips, techniques, and shortcuts for making the quilts.  Have fun collecting Jo fabrics, learning textile history, participating in fabric and block swaps, learning from demos, participating in show & tell, experiencing food from the era, and more!  Above all, you will treasure your quilting friendships .  Our lives are crazy and busy – this on-going monthly club will be a calm place that is good for your soul.  2 hrs  $37.50/qtr

INTERMEDIATE BALTIMORE CLUB

This club is an extension to previous Baltimore Album classes. If you have started a Baltimore Album quilt this will be a great club for you. You will get the inspiration and help needed to complete your heirloom quilt under the guidance of Wanda Hizer.  This is not for a beginner. We will meet once a month on the third Thursday morning and you must commit for the entire session.  $35 per quarter
 

Advanced Baltimore Club

If you have Baltimore Album experience, come join in our advanced group.  Work on a current project, or concentrate on re-creating one of many antique quilts from that era.  Some are finishing their first Baltimore Album quilt;  others are working on one of many patterns.  Join us as we explore these beauties.  $35 per quarter


Elisabeth's Embroidery Club
If you love and admire embroidered crazy quilts, come and join Elisabeth Frolet at our monthly embroidery gathering. Each month Elisabeth teaches something new. Explore the process of fabric selection and color planning that helps improve embroidery skills.  It will be a fun way to start a Crazy Quilt or other embroidery project.  It's never too late to join.. this group has fun while learning to love embroidery.
$35 per quarter  This club meets the 1st Tuesday of each month at 10am.

 


Hexie Handwork
Hexagons are all the rage! Join us as we learn the method used to construct projects made with hexagons.  Different projects featured each month.
Each session is 2hrs. $10           Meets 3rd Tues. each month.
 

Embroidery Club  (Stitchin’ Sisters)
Debbie has projects, ideas, and expertise to share with you on the second Saturday of the month. This club focuses on the latest from Bird Brain Designs and Crabapple Hill.  Be sure to watch for Bird Brain’s new book available in January:  “Snow Happy”,

Scraps of Life
Time to dig in your stash and use some of those fabulous fabrics you've been saving- even the tiniest pieces of fabric.  We will be working on blocks that are simple enough for the beginner, yet challenging in the size and settings used.  
We will focus on a different project each quarter.   Join the group and learn shortcut techniques for creating a scrap heirloom.  It;'s a different type of class especially for those of you looking to take quilting to the next level.

Tiny Stitches Book Club -"Farm Girl Vintage"
We're featuring a book we truly love" "Farm Girl Vintage".  Author Lori Holt takes us into the world of farms and farming as we construct her 6" or 12" blocks.
 
Join the fun!      2 ½ hours    $30 per quarter

 


Rulers Rule   
Carolyn knows that Rulers Rule in all of her projects.  Join us as we learn about a new ruler each quarter and use it in specified projects. Bring your machine, a snack to share, and piece with us if you wish.
